But there's an important distinction: Creatine hasn't been established as a medication-specific treatment for preventing muscle loss caused by GLP-1 drugs. We also have substantial evidence supporting creatine's role in improving high-intensity exercise capacity and supporting lean body mass, particularly when combined with resistance training. What we don't yet have is strong, direct evidence showing that creatine specifically prevents muscle loss in people taking GLP-1 medications. Rather than thinking of creatine as a "muscle-loss blocker," think of it as one potential tool in a larger strategy.
